Gospel City Kids

Bringing children to enjoy, trust, and follow Jesus as they read His Word and cultivate genuine friendships

First Visit

Your first stop when you arrive is the check-in table. We want to serve you and your children well. We will have a form for you to fill out to let us know about allergies, all contact information, and anything else we need to know. Then, you will be given a name tag and a sticker with a matching code. This sticker is what you will use to pick up your child from their class after gathering. We have a Welcome book that invites you to learn more about our classes and we will have someone show you around our campus.

Kids Classrooms

All kids will participate in worship and will be dismissed to their class afterwards.

*We promote children to new classes every August, based on their age/grade

Babies

Our babies class is a safe place for the little ones to enjoy music, inside play, cuddles, and snacks/bottles.

Toddlers

This room is for toddlers up to 3 years old. Their morning consists of outside play, a Bible story and snack, music, and inside play.

Early Years (3yrs-Kinder)

Kids are joining our elementary classes for Bible reading and hymn singing and then dismissed to a class for their own Bible lesson and activity.

There is access to a single occupancy bathroom, no diaper changing in this room.

Elementary (1st-6th*)

Kids are joined by early years for Bible reading and hymn singing and then dismissed to a class for their own Bible lesson and activity.

*6th grade is an optional grade to send into Kids class. As a guardian you may choose to have your child participate in kids for 6th grade, or have them graduate out after 5th grade.

Beginning in Early Years each class participates in a monthly rotation of a global church prayer focus, church history, apologetics, and a game day.

Learning Outcomes

1. Discover Jesus in the Scriptures.

2. Know & retell the Biblical story.

3. Know & retell the gospel.

4. See, experience, and love the diversity of God’s church.

Everything we do in Kids class — whether it’s reading Scripture, singing songs, playing games, or learning about the global church is aimed at accomplishing these goals.
