Why We Pray

At Gospel City, we deeply value having a culture of prayer. We LOVE to pray!

We Love God

Most simply, we pray because we love to be with God. God loves when His people pray and so do we. Psalm 73 says, "But for me it is good to be near to God."

We Want to See God's Kingdom Come

Prayer puts the power of God on display. It’s God’s chosen way that Christians get to participate with Him in redemption. We pray big prayers and bold prayers because our God is mighty!

We Need God

We are all hurting and desperately need God’s power and presence to come close. Prayer is the humble plea that says, “God, I need you. Please come near.” Apart from Christ, we can do nothing.

Prayer Ministry

Our Prayer Ministry exists to seek God together, lifting up our church, our city, and one another in faith as we trust Him to move and transform lives.

Healing &
Deliverance

We offer Inner Healing and Deliverance Ministry for those seeking deeper freedom. Our trained teams meet with individuals over an eight-week period to listen, pray, and invite Jesus to bring healing to wounded places and freedom from demonic oppression. For more information please email our Deacon of Prayer Ministry
