Our Vision

To See the Far Off Brought Near & to Grow into Christ as We Plant Churches from Long Beach to the Nations

We long to see those who are far from God, or may even consider themselves an outcast, be brought near to Jesus and enter into his family. At one point or another, all of us have been far off from God. No one deserves or earns their way into God’s family, but through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus we can be brought near to God (Ephesians 2:13). 

As the church, we are also called to grow up into Jesus who is the head of the church. We want to look more and more like Him as we share the good news of what He has done.

As God’s people, this is what everyday life looks like. We are to first, delight in Jesus. He is the greatest of all treasures and as His people we get to enjoy His presence. We daily trust in what He’s said and done. We follow where He leads and listen for His voice.

God is gathering a family from every nation, tribe, people, and language. We aim to be a healthy, diverse, unified family that reflects not just our city, but the heart of God for the nations.

God’s kingdom is where His glory is on display. We aim to make decisions that prioritize God’s kingdom over ours, even if that requires us to sacrifice.

We exist to make disciples of Jesus who make more disciples. We aim to raise up leaders and send them to plant more churches across the globe. We are a church that plants churches.

Acts 29 is a diverse, global community of healthy, multiplying churches characterized by theological clarity, cultural engagement, and missional innovation. Through this partnership we seek to make Jesus known among the least and the lost, all across the globe, through the planting of gospel-centered churches that plant churches. The EFCA is a Christian denomination committed to glorifying God by multiplying transformational churches among all peoples. As an EFCA church, we affirm this statement of faith here.

Convergence Church Network (CCN) aims to encourage, instruct, and support churches committed to the convergence of Word and Spirit as a distinguishing feature of their ministry. This means that we wholeheartedly affirm both the inspiration and authority of the Bible and the continuation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
